An elegant celebration of St James’s most revered dining destinations.

The Stafford London is proud to partner with The Grand Table to present the inaugural edition of Sunday Best, the first-ever roaming dining tour of St James’s. Bringing together some of the district’s most celebrated culinary destinations, this unique experience offers guests an extraordinary opportunity to explore the neighbourhood through exceptional food, wine and hospitality.

The Grand Table: Sunday Best invites just 30 guests to enjoy a unique gastronomic journey through the heart of St James’s. Over the course of a leisurely Sunday afternoon, guests will experience five beautifully curated courses across four iconic venues, each showcasing its own distinctive cuisine, atmosphere and hospitality.

The experience begins at The Stafford London, where guests are welcomed with a Champagne reception and opening course from Michael Caines MBE. From there, the party will stroll to Hide for a refined fish course overlooking Green Park, before continuing to the legendary Langan’s Brasserie, celebrating its 50th anniversary, for a signature meat course.

The afternoon then moves to the newly refurbished Quaglino’s, where guests will enjoy an indulgent dessert and cocktail before returning to the historic wine cellars of The Stafford London for a final course of artisan cheese and vintage port.

Each savoury course will be accompanied by a carefully selected wine pairing, creating a seamless progression of flavours throughout the day. Dietary requirements will be accommodated wherever possible, ensuring every guest enjoys a relaxed and memorable experience.

Beginning at 11:45am and concluding at approximately 6:00pm, Sunday Best offers a rare opportunity to experience some of St James’s most iconic restaurants in a single afternoon, while enjoying outstanding food, fine wines and convivial company.

Guests will walk between venues as part of the experience, with each destination located within a comfortable ten-minute stroll of the next.
